Almost One

My son Kalani turns one tomorrow. I've bought a cake mix and am gathering his presents together. I've not invited many people as most are working but i'm hoping a few babies will share his day tomorrow plus daddy and my sister may come too. It's hard because we moved house this week and are not quite settled. Separation with baby daddy is hard. I've been furious and sad. Friday was especially lonely, just me and baby in the big new place. I think I'm going to start a Friday wine club with ladies with babies. The past year has been such a rollercoaster and I'm so happy my boy is healthy and beautiful and almost one.
